About CaMyer
A family legacy in metal finishing
A family-run plating shop in Marshfield, Missouri, serving industry since 1970.
Where it started
CaMyer Electroplating was started in 1970 by Walter Myers. Walter worked as a chemist in the plating department at Royal Typewriter, and while he was there he saw a huge need in the plating industry.
With his schooling and many years of experience behind him, he left Royal Typewriter to open his own electroplating shop in Marshfield, Missouri.
Where we are today
More than five decades later, CaMyer is still a family business. Walter's daughter DeEdra Bradley and her husband C.G. Bradley run and manage the plant to this day.
We're in compliance with all federal, state and local effluent pretreatment regulations. All of our processing water and solutions are disposed of through our EPA-approved effluent pretreatment system, and all by-products precipitated in the process are shipped the right way.
